The Wedding Ceremony is normally divided into main sections:
Preludes, Processionals and Recessionals
Preludes:
Prelude Music usually begins 15 minutes prior to the actual ceremony as your guests are being seated.
Processional:
Processional Music is performed as the bride and bridal party are escorted down the aisle. Separate music selections should be chosen; ie: music for the parents seating, the bridal party and a selection for the bride.
Ceremony Music:
Within the ceremony music is often used for a number of special moments. It is commonly performed during the lighting of the unity candle, readings, flowers to parents or Blessed Virgin or during a Mass.
Recessional:
Recessional Music is the joyous that begins once the bride and groom are announced as man and wife. The music will continue until all guests have left the ceremony.
